In with the New

Whats hot and whats not for 2019!

As 2018 draws to a close its out with the old for millennial pinks, succulents, rose gold and ikat patterns. In contrast to the soft pastel tones we are entering 2019 with bold boho bright colours, fringing, soft luxurious velvet fabrics, statement ceilings, terrazzo, mixed metallics, black kitchens, concrete bathrooms, acrylic furniture, constellations, scallops and scales!

Black Kitchens with Mixed Metallic accessories

I love how some of the trends can easily be mixed together. Gorgeous golds work with luxurious velvets. Terrazo tiles can be incorporated into polished concrete bathrooms.

The wonder of the deep blue sea inspires us with scallops and scales which has been eleganted merged into furniture with art deco style velvet scallop backed chairs.

Scallops and Scales

Statement ceilings combined with the constellations trend so we can search the skies for inspiration.

From the catwalks fringing is back which looks fabulous combined with velvet for 1920’s style seating and lighting accessories.

Take a look at my inspiration boards on Pinterest and stay up to date with my Luxe Loves as I explore where to shop for these trends.
